With rapidly advancing technology, we aren’t far from a generation of graduating high school seniors who can’t understand why anyone would use a print book.

If all they’ve seen are iPads, iPhones, and iReaders, they might tour an old country library and wonder what to do. In that case, they would appreciate a ten-step instruction on how to choose a book from the shelf, open it, and experience the thrill of turning the pages.

    Clever method of teaching how to read. Wonder if anyone read it on their iPhone? Once, I was reading a story on the computer screen and was so engrossed I reached out to turn the page. Imagine my shock — and disappointment — to discover there was no page to turn.
