While she isn’t the oldest resident, Miz Maddie is the matriarch of Cornersville and all of Misty Forest beyond.
All are good neighbors, watching out for one another. There is no crime, maybe because folks are always giving you anything you need.

Nobody wants to steal eggs, ’cause Miz Maddie is so happy to share hers.
