Ben Hagins grew up in the small town of Fordyce, Arkansas. He attended Baylor University and was Captain of the Golf Team. Ben graduated in 1970, majoring in Business and Economics.

He then joined the U.S. Air Force, serving 10 years on active duty, mostly in the B-52 program at Carswell AFB, Texas.

Upon his separation, due to family reasons, Ben joined First Command Financial Planning, and completed an almost 30-year career working with thousands of military families in the areas of savings, insurance, and investments.

Ben and his wife, Kathy, now reside in Waco, Texas, very near to their son Trey and his wife Liz, and family, Robert B., Kate, and Baylor dog.
Ben enjoys golf, his church, writer’s group, Waco Links Fellowship, and, of course, — SLICE of HEAVEN.
