Without written form and rules, languages have evolved rapidly from one generation to the next. Because of all its written rules we learned in school, English has remained relatively constant for more than a hundred years. Until now. Technology has promoted so many different ways to communicate, we easily become confused as to what is right.

For every rule, it seems we have a dozen exceptions. Maybe we should be satisfied with whatever communicates best. Or maybe Brett Winn can help us out.
