The story about the three little pigs dates back to the 1800s. Walt Disney gave it modern fame in 1933 in his Silly Symphony cartoon, which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
If Shakespeare had written his version back four hundred years ago, one must wonder if would have earned any awards.
