ABOUT  CECILIA  BACON

Cecilia Bacon is a late-in-life follower of Christ, a wife to the love of her life, Danny, and she adores their blended family. She has a degree in the ‘school of life’ and can go toe-to-toe with just about anyone in clumsiness and foolish mistakes.

Cecilia has one other published novel, “Going Home, A Story of Ruth and Naomi.” The secret about all her characters is they mirror her in one way or another.

Cecilia is retired from technology where she blazed this line of business in the early 1970’s as a woman in a man’s field. This career unearthed her practicality, and a penchant for organization and order. Both have served her well in writing and everyday life.

BROKEN TEN: a novel of hope
Desperate Women in Hopeless Situations aren’t always those behind the bars.

Lydia has a deep hatred for all those incarcerated, a secret she keeps hidden especially because her job’s foundation is built on grace and mercy. In her opinion, convicts get what they deserve. After all, her own father landed in prison when he murdered the woman who help Lydia and her family escape his cruelty.

But in the midst of her tidy life, God reveals a plan for Lydia to expose all of her secrets to women who have lost hope. Those she had vowed never to care about or help.

Full of inspiration, rebellion, brokenness, and ultimate redemption, BROKEN TEN will warm your heart and open new avenues of thought about growing in grace.
