ABOUT MIKE GARST
Mike Garst has worked as an engineer and engineering consultant for Lennox International in the HVAC business for fifty years, and has no plans to retire. He considers his workplace and his neighborhood not only to be places to work and live, but also to be mission fields to share and show the love of Christ. He went to Costa Rica on his first mission trip in 1997, and that experience altered his life forever.
He still travels there regularly to encourage his spiritual sons and daughters, and to make devoted disciples of Jesus Christ. He went on his first mission trip to Germany in 2001 to help lead a Baseball Camp for Jesus, and that also impacted his life forever. Seven years later God worked through Mike to start the first of three yearly one-week Baseball Camps for Jesus in Germany (Aurich, Vechta and Osterholz- Scharmbeck) and has given him a vision for the rest of his life to start new camps as God opens the doors in Germany and other countries in Europe or around the world. Through these camps, he has become a spiritual father, friend and mentor to many in Germany.
Mike has been married to his wife Susie since 1977, and they currently live in Dallas, Texas, where they are blessed to spend time with and invest in the lives of their two married children, their spouses, and six grandchildren.

Living a “Best-is-Yet-to-Come” Life
How’s Your Retirement Setting Up?
The internet is full of ads asking the question, “Do you have enough money to retire?” But that’s the wrong question.
Isn’t the most important question, “How am I going to effectively use my gifts, skills, and experience all the way to the end of my life?” The Bible doesn’t talk about retirement, but it does give information on living like Jesus and finding your purpose.
And this book will help you:
• Find meaning for every day of your life.
• Live a more intentional life.
• Leave a godly legacy.
The people in the Bible served God to their final breath. This book will challenge you to change your thinking about retirement, especially if you’ve been thinking retirement is more about having enough money to do whatever you want versus what God wants you to do.
