Dedicated to instructing and inspiring writers as they spread the good news of Jesus Christ.

Each week we will have a short lesson on a topic related to writing. There will be an assigned topic each week for participants to write about, and share at the meeting.

Meets weekly on Sunday nights, 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., from mid-January to the first week in April, from mid-September through the end of October.

Inspirational Writers Alive! (IWA!) is an interdenominational Christian writers’ club. Our enthusiastic group of developing writers meets monthly to hone our craft through focused lessons, critique sessions, and workshops. We are here to give you the tools you need to walk out God’s Plan for your writing.

First-time visitors are welcome to attend one chapter meeting for FREE.

Cost: $30 per session, $95 for four-month season
Spring Season: March, April, May, June

Come to listen and learn. You have the option to submit 250 to 1,000 words by email attachment at least one day before the next meeting. Learn skills focused on the needs represented in the submitted manuscripts.

This is an interactive time with writing discussion focused on each individual’s needs.

We come to learn, to critique, and prepare ourselves for publication. Come and join us!

For critique time, bring 8 copies with up to 3 pages (double-spaced, Times New Roman 12-font–or larger, 1″ margins). Numbering your pages helps. You don’t need to bring something to critique. We will often be teaching the first 15 minutes, so bring something to take notes.

Meeting Location: Lake Pointe Church, room W216
Park on the Chili’s side of the building. Enter the W Building (near the parking garage). We meet on the third floor. Don’t forget to dress in layers. The church is often chilly.
